A lady has been arrested by an officer of the Ghana Police Service for taking pictures of her votes.
According to reports, the incident occurred at the Old Court 2 Adukorko polling station after a lady was arrested by the police for taking pictures of her votes.
Meanwhile, calm has been restored after the police commander intervened to stop the scuffle.
The 2024 general elections are underway across the country as Ghanaians vote to decide their next president and parliamentarian for the next four years.
In total 18 million registered voters are set to decide the nation’s next president and the structure of the 275-member Parliament.
In total, 12 candidates are vying for the presidency, with the front runners being the NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NDC’s John Mahama, Nana Kwame Bediako, and Alan Kyeremanten.
