The member of parliament for the North Tongu Constituency Sam Okudzeto Ablakwa has revealed that Labadi Beach Hotel has secured an injunction against the Blays.
According to Ablakwa, Labadi Beach Hotel has mounted a spirited effort to take back their beachfront.
He noted that this effort would not have happened if Ghanaians didn’t overwhelmingly vote for change.
An Accra High Court granted an injunction barring Spartan Ives Limited, a company affiliated with Kwame Blay, a son of former New Patriotic Party (NPP) National Chairman, Freddie Blay, from accessing the beachfront of the Labadi Beach Hotel.
The bombshell court documents confirm that the son of the former National Chairman of the NPP, Mr. Kwaw Worsemao Blay, now claims to be the new owner of the beachfront which had always belonged to the Labadi Beach Hotel.
Ablakwa’s statement on X reads, “Great news! Labadi Beach Hotel has successfully secured an injunction against the Blays in a spirited effort to take back their beachfront. This wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t overwhelmingly vote for change. Thank you Ghana for liberating the victims of State Capture. We shall surely recover all loot!”
Meanwhile, the Blays in two separate lawsuits have sued the member of parliament for defamatory publications that they claim falsely implicate them in the alleged theft of state property.
