Kumawood actor and comedian Kwaku Manu has publicly appealed to President-elect John Dramani Mahama to make industrialization a top priority in his administration.
Speaking live on UTV during a program, the actor passionately urged the incoming president to invest heavily in industries to tackle unemployment and stabilize the economy.
In his heartfelt plea, Kwaku Manu expressed concern over the growing number of unemployed youth in Ghana and the struggles many families face due to the lack of job opportunities.
He highlighted industrialization as a key solution to these challenges, emphasizing its potential to create jobs and improve the livelihoods of ordinary Ghanaians.
“President-elect John Mahama, I am pleading with you. Our youth are suffering because there are no jobs.
If we can focus on building factories and industries, it will give people work to do and help stabilize the economy,” Kwaku Manu stated live on air.
The Kumawood star also called on other stakeholders, including private investors and policymakers, to join hands in creating an enabling environment for industrial growth.
