Member of Parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzato Ablakwa says the new government will not tolerate any interference from unions or individuals who seek to undermine its efforts.
In an interview posted by Popony_J on X, Ablakwa stated that unions in Ghana have suddenly started releasing statements on arrears owned by government as National Democratic Congress(NDC) has been voted into power.
Ablakwa, revealed that these arrears are old but unions like Conference of Heads of Assisted Secondary Schools (CHASS) have only decided to cause disruptions to the NDC coming into government.
CHASS in a recent statement released cited some arrears that needs to be settled to the union by government and threatened that Senior High Schools will not reopen if arrears not settled.
“A lot of these unions, these arrears they are issuing statements on today are old because in a few days time, the NDC is coming into power”.
He also stated that Ghana Labour Union is a disappointment for calling of the strike while all their demands has not been met by the incumbent government.
he assured that the new administration will not be swayed by their tactics.
“A heart-wrenching expose on the criminal re-bagging of expired Moshosho rice.
Many parents and journalists called me about the silence of the unions in the sector”.
These useless unions are back, causing chaos and disruption.
