The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) John Mahama has sent a message to the presidential candidate of the NPP Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia 5 days before the general elections.
According to John Mahama, he has heard that the NPP flagbearer is back in the Ashanti region after spending 2 weeks in the region some months ago.
Speaking to the large crowd after the NDC’s Enti Asanteman Aseda Ni” walk in Kumasi, John Mahama stated, “What I want to tell him is that if he likes he should bring Madam Hajia Samira and all his children with his bed and sleep in the Asante Region if he goes up or down these elections the NDC will win”.
John Mahama further detailed, “The month that passed, that was the end of October, we went to the Oti region, we were from the Northern region the region that had to follow was the Ashanti region but when we made out our mind to come we heard Dr. Bawumia was coming to here for 2 weeks from 3 to 18th and we said it was nothing we will go to the Western North, then Western to Central when we are done he will also be done”.
“We didn’t want to crash, that maybe something would happen, he finished and left, and we also gave a date that we would be coming today. When I woke up, I heard Dr. Bawumia had run back to Kumasi”, John Mahama added.
