John Dumelo, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate Ayawaso West Wuogon has won the Ayawaso West Wuogon parliamentary seat.
According to the official result of the EC, John Dumelo secured 40,561 votes while incumbent Lydia Alhassan secured 27,377 votes.
In an X post, John Dumelo just stated “Never give up”.
Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party is facing major defeats in the 2024 parliamentary elections, as several prominent Members of Parliament lose their seats to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
