A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Manifesto Committee, Dr Henry Kwabena Kokofu, has the NPP defeat in the 2024 elections is painful.
Dr Henry Kwabena Kokofu asserted that change is inevitable but the way the change happens and how you manage it is quite painful.
According to him, the whole world was in hardship and Ghana was also included but Ghanaians have decided for a change in government.
Speaking on Accra-based radio station Peace FM, he detailed, “Change is inevitable, but the way the change will happen and how you will manage it is quite painful, we the NPP wanted to break the cycle of eight, we put up an argument that yes it is time, but look at what we have done, the good things we have done, there have been mistakes, and we have committed some”.
“But going forward with the mistakes that occurred we will correct them, and we are going to do it this way, that is all the bold solutions are about, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign if you put it all together that was what it meant”, he added.
He added, “The whole world was suffering, and some touched us. The management of the hardship we thought would have been better, but it did not happen, it brought suffering but let’s look at the good things we did, for you to give us another chance to continue so what we did not do right we change them, that was it”.
“Ghanaians said no, we have look at the Good and the bad and we think another should come, what is your problem, today is the first time I am talking since Saturday”, he disclosed.
