“Isaac Adongo all those standing here are people who are looking for a bus to go and vote for you. We have been here since yesterday night and have suffered mosquito bites all because we want to go and vote for you.”

“You (Isaac Adongo) have disgraced the people of Bolgatanga. You couldn’t even arrange a bus to take us to the North to go and vote for you. Isaac Adongo you’ve disgraced us,” she retorted.

Ahead of the elections today, there have been a rush for buses to other parts of the country, leading to shortage of buses and voters being stranded.

Some political parties and MPs organized transportation to various regions for their supporters.

If the shortage of buses prevail and many are unable to go to their constituencies to go and vote, this could affect the election and possibly result in a runoff.
