A man on live radio has said to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that anytime Ghanaians vote in a general election it is about the economy.

According to the Man, he wonders why politicians keep saying they built infrastructure when there is no money in the pockets of Ghanaians.

He revealed that in 2016 a friend of his had 100,000 US dollars as his business capital which was 400,000 cedis today that money is now less than 25,000 cedis.

Speaking on live radio he stated, “In Ghana anytime we vote it is about the economy, I am even surprised they keep talking about Infrastructure, it is about the economy, if there is no money in my pocket, I will vote you out. It is as simple as that”.

“There is a young man who is my friend, in 2016, he had 100,000 US dollars as his capital for work, thus 400,000 cedis to it is less than 25,000 cedis, you are telling me that person if you tell him Free SHS he would go and vote, is that what you are saying” he added.

The man further descended on the NPP for losing touch with reality and believing in tribal politics.

He added, “They lost touch with the base, they should accept it, they should go and sit back and prepare a lot of things, it is not about choosing this person because he is an Ashanti, or choosing this person because he is a Muslim, those things have passed”.

“The young boys on the streets today, they would vote against you, if you don’t tell them something that will better their lives, today every young man wants to travel, the very moment you have an economy when everybody wants to leave it means it is failing”, he emphasized boldly.
