Kwame A Plus, the newly elected Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, has made it clear where his priorities lie as he gets ready to take office.
In an interview with Graphic Showbiz, the outspoken musician turned politician stated that while he appreciates the creative community, his main focus will be on representing his constituents, not just pushing the entertainment industry’s agenda
he directed players in the industry to give attention to Shatta Wale’s advocacy for the betterment of the industry since he has been providing solutions all these years.
“I don’t want anyone to think that Kwame A Plus is going to Parliament to fight for the interest of the entertainment industry.
That is not my business there, my interest is to work and bring satisfaction to the people of Gomoa Central who voted massively for me because of the confidence they have in me.
“It was just a few of my friends in the industry who solidly stood by me throughout.
So nobody should tell me I’m representing the creative industry, I’m going to Parliament to serve the interest of the people of Gomoa Central,” he said.
Kwame A Plus pointed out that players in the creative industry think highly of themselves with everyone feeling more important in the face of the bedeviling challenges.
