The National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Ablekuma North, Ewurabena Aubynn has stated the NPP is in love with the 24-hour economy.
Ewurabena Aubynn was declared the winner of the Ablekuma North parliamentary seat, but the Electoral Commission is seeking to re-collate the votes from the constituency.
The NDC parliamentary called the EC to end the electoral processes beautifully as the yuletide season is about to begin.
Speaking during a press conference, she stated, “On a lighter note, I think I am beginning to feel that the NPP is so much in love with the 24-hour economy policy. You see the way they are trying to run the 24-hour economy with all the electoral process”.
“But his excellency John Mahama is here, and he is here to do it better, and not at gun point, and not by fraud, and not by foul means, the EC with few days to the yuletide season let us end all processes beautifully, so that there is peace”, she added.
Ewurabena Aubynn further reiterated the chaotic situations in some constituencies due to the EC re-collation is not worth emulating.
She added, “Yesterday on the news I saw some burning of tires it is so chaotic when you go to Okaikwe Central it is not a good thing, let not condone this, today NDC is in power, and I don’t think we will be in power forever, tomorrow it will be the tend of the NPP or any other political party, let us not lay down structures that are not worth emulating”.
