Kwaku Manu, a Kumawood actor and Youtuber has revealed that even if someone pounds fufu and grasscutter with his favorite soup he will still vote against that person.
According to Kwaku Manu, if he is in the queue on December 7 to vote and someone comes to him in the queue with their folded and wants to give him something he might slap that person.
During the Special voting on Monday, December 2, 2024, Member of Parliament Lydia Seyram Alhassan was in a viral video sharing food and drinks with voters who were waiting for their turn in a queue to cast their ballot in the special voting exercise.
Speaking in a self-recorded video, Kwaku Manu reacting to Lydia Alkhassan’s food sharing stated, “I will also vote, but if I am in a queue and someone comes and has folds his hands that Kwaku takes in the line, maybe I will let you get a name, or I will get a name there. The thing you are bringing me if you don’t take care I will slap you, it is not about the thing you are bringing me”.
“If you do that you have insulted me, the time I am in a queue going to vote that is when you a party member, minister, with your people that is when you are showing me you love me, so you are bribing me”, he added.
Kwaku Manu emphasized, “At that little moment, you were able to cook rice at home to be given to me, am I at a party? I sitting here if my mind is clear and my brain is working if you like pound fufu and grasscutter with my favorite soup and bring it in the queue for me to eat, if I will vote against you I will vote against you”.
