The lead Convener of the FixTheCountry and Democracy Hub, Oliver Barker-Vormawor has sent a threat to the Electoral Commission a day before the general elections.
According to Oliver Vormawor, the wind of change is clear and if the Electoral Commission Chairperson dares declare a win for the NPP government they will take the republic by force.
In a post on social media page X, Oliver Vormawor warned the EC if they dare announce a with for the NPP government after the 2024 polls they will understand the anger of the Ghanaian youth.
He wrote on X, “It will take a miracle & a huge amount of rigging for the Government to win this elections. The wind of change is clear! And if the EC dares announce a Gov’t win, they will then understand the anger of the Ghanaian youth!”
Oliver Vormawor further went on to send a threat, “We will take the Republic by force! Abufusem. #TimesUp”, he wrote on X.
Both the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) yesterday held their final rallies ahead of the 2024 elections tomorrow.
Ghanaians go to the polls tomorrow to decide their next president and members of parliament for the next four years.
