The National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said if Busia was alive, he would have voted for the NDC.
According to Asiedu Nketia, the late Busia would not be happy his party NPP has made Abronye DC the Bono regional chairman.
Speaking on Onua TV, Asiedu Nketia stated, “If you look at Brong Ahafo it is Busia’s party, because of that I was saying if Busia was alive, he would have voted for the NDC, we have won in his area, and all the three seats we have won” he added.
“If he was alive, he would have voted for the NDC, if you look at the whole Brong Region and they have given it to Abronye as their chairman. You look at Kyei Mensa Bonsu’s face and look at the face of Ghanaians and you say Kyei Mensa Bonsu to go and sit and Afenyo Markin to become majority leader”, he reiterated.
Johnson Asiedu Nketia has made a shocking claim against President Akufo-Addo, saying, “Nana Addo said we use foolish people to fight for power, he is always saying that, when he became their party leader, I began to see his steps he was implementing exactly what he believed in”.
“Did you see what he did to Afoko and Agyapong and the people he replaced them with, do you know how Chairman Wontumi became Regional Chairman, he and a first-class lawyer Hon. Osei Prempeh went for a contest and Nana Addo went to support him”, he added.
He further emphasized saying “It was effective for him, what made it effective for him is if you send them to go and do any bad thing that will help you win power they will go because they do not have any reputation to protect”.
