Ibrahim Mahama, brother of the President-elect John Dramani Mahama, has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the two National Democratic Congress (NDC) polling agents tragically killed by thugs allegedly linked to Hawa Koomson,
the Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture Development.
In a video that has gone viral on social media, the business mogul was seen alongside NDC supporters and national executives as he visited the affected families to offer his sympathies.
The two agents were reportedly attacked during the December 7 elections, an act that Mr. Mahama condemned as both senseless and cowardly.
“My heart goes out to the families who have lost loved ones in this brutal attack,” he said.
Mahama firmly stated that justice would be pursued, emphasizing that Koomson, who is suspected of having ties to the attackers, would be held accountable.
“Justice will be served, and Hawa Koomson shall surely pay for her sins accordingly,” Mahama declared.
He called for a full investigation into the killings and for those responsible to face the full force of the law.
