US based Ghanaian social commentator; Kevin Taylor says he will present evidence in his custody on some properties owned by outgoing President Akufo-Addo.
Kevin Taylor took to his X page to respond a claim by Eugene Arhin, Director of Communications at the presidency, debunking claims that president Akufo-Addo owned properties in the UK.
In a post on X, he wrote, “I have been called from break to produce evidence so I will gladly do that next . Akpaaaa”.
Eugene Arhin’s statement comes on the back of allegations made by Kevin Taylor previously about president Akufo-Addo owning several properties in the UK, numbering 15. Kevin Taylor pledged to share documents to back his claim but has since his pronouncement failed to do so.
Kevin Taylor named only one property as owned by Akufo-Addo out of the 15, but provided no supporting evidence linking the President to it.
His focus was on 75 Nottingham Terrace, London, City of Westminster, Greater London, NW1 4QE, owned by Stratton Enterprise Holding Limited, which was last sold in 2020 for £3,350,000.00, an allegation which has been proven untrue.
Without any evidence, Kevin Taylor indicated that Stratton belongs to Nana Akufo-Addo and, therefore, the property too.
“It is unfortunate that such baseless accusations are being used to create unnecessary distractions at a time when our collective efforts should be focused on building a prosperous, progressive Ghana,” Eugene Arhin said in response to the allegation.
