Edward Ennin, a former New Patriotic Party (NPP) Member of Parliament for Obuasi East has said when the time comes, he will go and present his evidence to help uncover all the loot stolen by the Akufo-Addo Bawumia government.
According to him, he went to Guyana and was amazed at the kind of things he saw there.
Edward Ennin asserted that the country’s ambassadors and high commissioners know about all the money that is stolen from Ghana and sent abroad.
Speaking in an interview with Accra-based UTV, Edward Ennin detailed, “I was at the home of one big personality together with three ambassadors, from France, the UK, and the US, and the conversation that was had there was dangerous… The ambassadors know about all the money that is stolen from the country and sent abroad. We are all going to see what will happen”.
“I went to Guyana and you would be amazed at the kind of things I saw there. Go and ask the people investing in the oil blocks over there. The day of reckoning is coming,” the former NPP added.
He further reiterated, “When it comes, I’m prepared to go before the committee. I would do this because we have to put Ghana first. When the time comes, I will go and present my evidence.”
Meanwhile, the transition team of John Mahama has named an ORAL team which has been tasked with laying the groundwork for Mahama Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).
The team includes Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Chairman, Mr. Daniel Domelevo – Former Auditor-General, COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, Mr. Martin Kpebu – Private Legal Practitioner, and Mr. Raymond Archer – Investigative Journalist.
