The deputy communication officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Malik Basintale has he will personally lead the boys boys to vote against the NDC if they don’t scrap the betting tax.
According to Malik Basintale, the people demanded if they don’t deliver, they should come themselves and raise their hand telling Ghanaians to vote them out.
Speaking in a one-on-one interview on TV3, Malik Basintale stated, “ For example, 10% bet tax the boys boys say scrap it, if we are not able to scrap it within four years, I will personally lead the boys boys to vote against NDC. Yes, if we don’t, the boys boys say scrap the 10% bet tax, if we are unable to scrap it, I will lead the boys boys to vote against the NDC”.
“There is no excuse, how are we going to explain to them, so if what the people demanded if we don’t do it, you should come yourself and raise your hand say vote me out, as simple as that”, he emphasized.
He further stated, “That is what we thought the NPP would have done, they should have just come, I million dollars per constituency we go deliver vote us out, One district One factory we couldn’t deliver vote us out, one district one warehouse we could not deliver vote us out. We thought the NPP was going to do that”.
