Member of Parliament for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has pledged to continue his battle against corruption and state capture, regardless of which political party is in power.
Ablakwa, a vocal critic of government wrongdoing, made this declaration in a social media post, emphasizing that his commitment to exposing corruption transcends political affiliations.
“I will not accept bribes or stop fighting corruption, whether the government is led by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) or any other party,” he said.
“My focus is on ensuring that Ghana prospers, not just a few individuals.”
Ablakwa believes it is crucial for every leader to prioritize the nation’s welfare above personal interests.
He pointed out that his efforts have already saved Ghanaian taxpayers billions of cedis by exposing wasteful practices.
“It is in our collective interest to encourage and strengthen this culture of transparency and accountability, even under the next NDC administration.
When politicians and public officials know their actions will be scrutinized, our democracy becomes healthier, and the public purse is protected.”
The MP also warned Ghanaians to expect more explosive revelations in the coming days, pledging to continue his fight to ensure national resources are used to improve the living conditions and opportunities for the people of Ghana.
