President-elect, John Dramani Mahama has assured Ghanaians he wants to leave a legacy before his retirement.
According to John Mahama, his four-term is a legacy term before his retirement.
He asserted that Ghana needed to be reset for the next generation to come and build upon it.
Speaking when the leadership of the Church of Pentecost visited him, John Mahama stated, “For me, this is a legacy term, four years, I want to give this country my best going into retirement knowing that we have created a platform, we have reset our country so that the next generation can come and take it and build up upon it”.
“I need all the prayers, all the encouragement that we need in our language in twi they say not all the wisdom is in one head, it takes all to come together to be able to do what is right, so I will be very open to ideas from all manners of people including from our opponents”, he added.
John Mahama further detailed, “Even though we have an overwhelming majority we still have to build a consensus in the way we approach things, I am sure the people of Ghana gave us that bold endorsement so we can take the bold decisions”.
