The Parliamentary candidate for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Phyllis Naa Koryoo Okunnor, has booted incumbent MP Hawa Koomson out of parliament.

Naa Koryoo secured 50,886 votes while defeated Hawa Koomson secured 46,638 votes.
Naa Koryoo Okunnor stated, “It has been a hard-fought win for me. Kasoa is now free and will see development under my watch”.
Meanwhile, the New Patriotic Party is facing major defeats in the 2024 parliamentary elections, as several prominent Members of Parliament lose their seats to the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
