The Chairperson of John Mahama’s ORAL team Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa disclosed hackers are trying to attack the ORAL website.
According to Okudzeto Ablakwa, he is glad the website firewalls are so strong.
He added that the IT team experts came together to create the website without taking a penny from the state.
Speaking on Good Morning Ghana, Ablakwa disclosed, “Ghanaians are so passionate about ORAL the IT experts came together and did this for us for free, I can imagine that if our friends had done this, they would have been a whole commissioning of an App, we saw them commissioning Apps every day”.
“I am glad that the firewalls are so strong, it is quite strange also that the IT guys tell us that on a daily basis some people are trying to attack the websites, and hackers want to bring it down, so far it has been resilient, and I commend the IT volunteers for what they have done”, he added.
Ablakwa further revealed the ORAL team has received more than 700 petitions.
He stated, “We have started working in earnest, we have rolled out our interactive platforms and I can confirm to you, that we have received more than 700 petitions as of yesterday when we received a briefing from the call center more than 700”.
“People are actively using, www.oralgh.com.org which is the website address where you can go and put in your information to provide evidence of any wrongdoing and corruption-related matter. We will put together that evidence so that when an Attorney General is appointed, we will hand over all of that, People are also using the toll-free number 0800900111 others are sending emails”, he added.
