Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Communications Manager for the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia campaign, has revealed that the NPP Government did not have the money to pay NABCO workers.
According to Dennis Miracles Aboagye he wished the government had the funds to pay NABCO workers.
He is quoted by GHONE TV to have said, “ I wished that government had the funds to pay NABCO workers, but it didn’t have the money”.
Meanwhile, the information gathered revealed that some NABCO Trainees have received text messages indicating government preparedness to pay their 9-month arrears in the run-up to the 2024 elections.
The text message reads, “Dear former CIG trainee, the system is ready for your module. Kindly upload your timesheet for Dec 2021 to Aug 2022 if you haven’t done so already by 30 Oct 2024”.
President-elect John Dramani Mahama also challenged NPP flagbearer and vice president of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to pay NABCO trainees their allowance arrears during the 2024 campaign season.
