The Member of Parliament for Tema West, Hon. Carlos K. Ahenkorah has said Ghanaians voted against the New Patriotic Party (NPP), not in favor of the National Democratic Congress.
According to Carlos Ahenkorah, the 2024 elections show Ghanaians are saying the NPP failed them.
Speaking on UTV Ghana, Carlos Ahenkorah stated, “The NDC should not feel that Ghanaians like them that is why they voted for them, they should be very careful, they have won, Ghanaians voted against the NPP, so I am begging the NDC they should put their eyes on the ground what the NPP did not do for their people to feel, they should do that for their people.
“Ghanaians have already stated that it is not about the roads, how many people have cars in Ghana, everything is important don’t get me wrong”, he added.
Carlos Ahenkorah further detailed, “I can say a lot, Ghanaians have said we have failed them, and that is what Ghanaians are saying I agree with Ghanaians because Ghanaians have sent a signal to us that we have failed them, it is not the number of hospitals that you have built that we are looking at, it not about the commissioning of the flyovers”.
“Ghanaians are saying hospitals are not important even if it is important there are other things they need too, it is not just about hospitals, we must think about this”, he reiterated.
Meanwhile, Ghanaians are still waiting on the Electoral Commissioner chairperson Madam Jean Mensa to officially declare the results of the 2024 presidential elections.
