Ghanaian social media users did not take it lightly with X user,  @tech_twi

Over a post he made about American youtuber IShowSpeed and perceptions which would have surrounded his wealth if he were a Ghanaian youth.

In a post on his official X page, Tech In Twi pointed out that IShowSpeed at 19 years has a net worth of $10,000,000, a net worth uncommon to Ghanaian youth.

He added that IShowSpeed would have been labeled a fraudster in he was living in Ghana, as they would have claimed he was too young to have such wealth.

He further described Ghana as a country where most Ghanaians have a poor mentality.

He wrote on his X page, “Speed is 19 years old with a net worth of $10,000,000. In Ghana, they would call him a scammer because he is too young to have such assets. Welcome to a country where the majority has a poor mentality.”

Some Ghanaian X users however did not take this post likely, with many quickly sharing their dissenting views on the post.

Below are some of the posts;

@bondzii – Not true considering we know how he makes his money , no one will call content creators scammers.

@0xedb – Bro How do you even think. Everyone knows exactly what speed does and it’s very easy to even predict his earnings.

@phoenix_bld_ – Bro everyone knows what speed does. We all see where his money is coming from. Most of the young people who are called scammers can’t publicly state where or how they made their money. They have the right not to disclose this, it’s no ones business really but come on, don’t compare speed to his age mates making the same money with nothing to show.

@kwakuyeboah22 – America has population of over 300m. How many teens in that country are millionaires despite their enormous opportunities. It means that, at that age it is rare to make some level of money without suspicion. Even in USA that suspicion exist. Try live huge without ur taxes proving ur income, you’ll see how the system will treat you with suspicion.

@drop_last – Ghana any young rich guy is a scammer o! Nkwasia Adwene seiii

@HailTizzy – You and nonfa it’s like saying Wode Maya doesn’t deserve to be wealthy whiles we know what he does. Get your facts right

@FloraAcetyra – Poor mentality turns success into suspicion faster than Speed himself.

@Scanty003 – Those old men dey scam pass the young men

@osei_dennis100 – You are tagging someone whose net worth is visible for everyone to see to people in Ghana who have houses,cars,living lavishly without any visible means of income…If they are into tech,Crypto at least we would see.If you are a SCAMMER you are one bro..
