The Gomoa central member of parliament elect Kwame A-Plus has boldly stated Ghanaians did not vote against Dr. Bawumia; they voted against Akufo-Addo.
According to A Plus, one cannot be a president of a country that has gold, oil, and all the natural resources and be taxing young people betting on Manchester City and Chelsea.
Speaking on TV3 in an interview, he stated, “There is nobody who voted against Dr. Bawumia, everybody who voted, voted against Akufo-Addo, the results that we had is a protest against Akufo-Addo, you cannot be president of a country that has gold, oil, has all the natural resources that you can think of asking young people who are betting on Manchester city and Chelsea to give you half of their earnings, to be able to run a country”.
“After everything God has given to you, what you need to run a country is bet, everybody who voted, voted against Akufo-Addo, not Dr. Bawumia all those who voted for NDC voted against the COVID-19 levy”, he added.
The elected member of parliament added, “Most countries made money from COVID-19, it is only Akufo-Addo who brought some Nigerians or whoever into this country to come and take money from our airport and share it amongst themselves after that turnaround and come and charge Ghanaians covid levy after he and his people have taken the money”.
“It is only Akufo-Addo who has a finance minister, even his MPs in parliament were telling him to remove but was so arrogant and decided that he will keep the Finance Minister he did not care”, A Plus stated boldly.
