A Ghanaian lady who has just arrived from abroad has expressed her shocked by the unconventional arrangement between Ghana Police and a thief who came to steal from her aunt.th
According to the Ghanaian Lady, the police wanted her aunty to buy food for a thief who came to steal from her.
She also revealed that a thief was arrested where she stayed in Accra and was almost beaten to death without him being sent to the police station.
Speaking in a self-recorded video she narrated the incident, “A few months after moving to Accra, they caught a thief in my area, and I was completely shocked, all the area people, the area guys were absolutely pummeling this man, they were beating him up, they were using sticks and stones and everything golf clubs even, they were beating him literally to an inch of his life”.
“I was like guys let’s just call the police, everyone was looking at me like that, I don’t know what happened at the end, actually they bundled him up and literally took him to some bush, I felt so bad about it, I was like God is this how we deal with criminals here” she added.
She also narrated her Aunties ordeal with the Ghana Police saying, “A thief was caught at my Aunties house, she did what I was suggesting that the first group of people did, she bundled him in a car, and sent him to the Police station and did all the reports, the guy was begging and crying, they jailed him for a little bit”.
“After four hours, they called my Aunty back and said she needed to bring him some food, he was hungry, so they told me if I took a thief to the police station and jailed him it was now my responsibility to feed him”, she expressed her shock.
