The lady who made headlines after hurling insults at President-elect John Mahama and supporters of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) following his re-election has issued a public apology.
In a heartfelt message, she expressed regret for her actions, acknowledging that her choice of words was inappropriate.
“I deeply apologize to all Ghanaians, especially NDC supporters, for the hurtful comments I made,” she said.
“I did not intend to offend anyone, and I ask for forgiveness, particularly from those I directly insulted, including President Mahama and his supporters.”
The apology comes after the woman sparked controversy by calling Mahama a “sheep” and making other inflammatory remarks just after his victory in the elections.
The outburst quickly went viral, attracting widespread condemnation from various sections of the public.
