Financial analyst and economist Scott Bolshevik has said for every $1 President Akufo-Addo invests in Ghana; they steal 3 times more.

According to Scott Bolshevik, President Akufo-Addo sprinkled some projects like Agenda 111, interchange, and due to illiteracy, people hail them.

Scott Bolshevik, known for his constant commentary on issues relating to Ghana on social media platform X, particularly on the Ghanaian economy, on his X page and wrote, “I can confidently tell Ghanaians that for every $1 Akuffo Addo invests in the country, they steal 3x more. In the end, they sprinkle some projects like Agenda 111, interchange and due to illiteracy, people hail them”.

Scott Bolshevik further revealed that Ghana is retrogressing while other African nations are improving.

Meanwhile, the Akufo-Addo Bawumia administration has been engulfed in several scandals over the eight years, these scandals go from election violence to public funds mismanagement.

Some of the major scandals under the Akufo-Addo Bawumia government include the killing of eight persons during the 2020 elections, ambulance spare parts, Sky train, COVID-19 management and expenditures, Agyapa Royalties deal, PDS scandal, African games expenditure, Illegal sole-sourced contracts, expired rice saga and the National Cathedral scandal.

With the latest being the NSS scandal, and the $20m e-Gate project turning into a $240m cash cow.

Political parties across Ghana are delivering their final campaign messages as Ghanaians go to the polls in 2 days to decide their next president and their members of parliament for the next four years.

Corruption remains one of the key indicators determining the choice of electorates and the political candidates they consider during this electioneering period.
