The rally organized at Abeka-Lapaz yesterday, December 1, 2024 had an impressive line up of artistes including Kofi Mole, Beetztrap KOTM, Dope Nation, King Jerry with Shatta Wale as the headline artiste.

However, things didn’t go as planned for Baba Sadiq. While the show was going on, the constituents who had mostly gathered to see one person got angry and started trooping out of the rally following a revelation.

Mid show, Baba Sadiq and his team aired a video of Shatta Wale where the artiste apologized to his fans and told them he was not going to make it to the concert. This revelation shattered and angered constituents who had gathered to see Shatta Wale.

Out of frustrations, the constituents walked away, abruptly ending the rally.

The contest for the Okaikwei Central seat is a battle between Nana Ama Dokua Asiamah-Adjei, a two time MP for AKuapem-Akropong who switched camp to contest the Okaikwei Central seat on the ticket of the NPP and Baba Sadiq who is representing the NDC.

The December 7, 2024 elections is in five days as Ghanaians are posed to either retain the NPP in power by voting Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia into power or vote John Dramani Mahama back to the Jubilee House

However, the Electoral Commission (EC) has begun the nationwide Special Voting exercise.

This allows election officials, security personnel, and media practitioners to cast their ballots early ahead of the December 7 general election.
