NPP’s Farouk Aliu Mahama loses Yendi parliamentary seat

Farouk Aliu Mahama, the New Patriotic Party’s incumbent Member of Parliament for Yendi has lost the seat to the National Democratic Congress’s candidate.

According to provisional results collated from the centers Abdul-Fataw Alhassan of the NDC had 30,707 votes as against Farouk Aliu Mahama’s 29,819.

Provisional results from the 2024 general elections have started dripping in, as an early glimpse of the nation’s voting trends.
