The NDC parliamentary candidate for Okaikwei Central Baba Sadiq has boldly stated every single seat won by the NDC during the 2024 parliamentary elections will be sworn in parliament.
According to Baba Sadiq, all the seats won by the NDC were won credibly.
He also asserted that the NDC are not cowards, and their revolution will start on 5th January.
Baba Sadiq was reacting to the EC re-collation exercise. The Electoral Commission through an Accra High Court order has re-collated the Obuasi East, Okaikwei Central, Tema Central, Nsawam Adoagyiri, and Techiman South, which were previously declared in favor of the NDC have been re-declared for the NPP.
Reacting to the development Baba Sadiq stated, “I am sending a warning, not even the IGP, not even CDS, not even Nana Addo. If Jean Mensa is minded, she herself will step down in parliament on the 6th, we won the election credibly, on behalf of myself, on behalf of Dome Kwabenya, on behalf of Ablekuma North, Tema Central, on behalf of Obuasi East”.
“This is a strong warning to them, to Afenyo Markin, if this is what you wanted to achieve to be retained as minority leader you failed, you will not be retained”, he added.
Baba Sadiq further reiterated boldly, “We are not cowards in this country, we were not born to be cowards, the blood that runs through our veins is NDC is the blood of revolution, that revolution starts on 5th January”.
