The Accra High Court ordered the Electoral Commission to re-collate results for six outstanding constituencies after an Accra High Court ruling on December 21, directing the EC to finalize the election results for the six constituencies.
The six disputed constituencies include Tema Central, Nsawam-Adoagyir, Ablekuma North, Ahafo Ano North, Techiman South, and Okaikwei Central constituencies.
Henry Osei Akoto, reacting to the Supreme Court hearing of the NDC cases wrote on X, “Listen to Lawyer Edudzi Tamakloe at the Supreme Court and imagine how Akufo-Addo’s judges are abusing their authority in our courts. It’s sad. Even the Supreme Court judges are shocked at the High Court judge’s behaviour”.
Meanwhile, the NDC has accused the High Court Judge who ordered the EC re-collation of disputed constituencies of bias and procedural errors.
The NDC’s Director of Legal Affairs, Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe during the Supreme Court proceedings on Friday, December 27 stated that the Accra High Court denied the NDC the opportunity to present its case.
