A Ghanaian youth has boldly stated the elections in Ghana are no longer about the NPP or the NDC.
According to Ghanaian youths, Ghanaians will now vote as a punishment for nonperformance as they did to the NPP in the 2024 elections.
Speaking in an interview on Flow Your Mind, he stated, “Nowadays the elections are not about NDC or NPP, we vote for Ghana, if you come to this country and want to make up your mind you are NDC, or NPP and want to fool we will beat you up”.
“Now, we vote to beat you, we didn’t vote against him, what will happen is no one will mention the results, you will come out yourself to mention it for yourself”, he detailed.
The Ghanaian youth further detailed, “Bawumia the votes was to beat him, we don’t vote NPP or NDC if you come to power, and you think it only your mouth and pocket we will vote to beat you. so, the NDC what made us beat them and they are back, they have gone to the hospital, they should make sure they have covered all their wounds or when they also fool like the NPP we will also beat them”.
The Chairperson of Ghana’s Electoral Commission (EC), Jean Mensa, has officially declared John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), as the President-elect in the 2024 general election.
The EC’s certified results, Mahama secured 6,328,397 votes, representing 56.55% of the total valid votes cast. His closest contender, Dr. Bawumia of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), garnered 4,657,304 votes, representing 41.61%.
