Social media user and known sympathizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Kaly Jay has taken a swipe at the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
He mocked the digital prowess of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia during the party’s final campaign rally at Legon yesterday.
The NPP and NDC both held a wrap up rally to their campaign activities yesterday, December 5, 2024. The NPP held its rally at the UG Sports Directorate park, while the NDC held its rally at the Zurak Park in Madina.
Both campaigns were well attended by party faithful, with the parties making sure people unavailable to be at the rallies in person were catered for with social media streaming.
Posting a screenshot of the viewers of the live streaming of both campaigns, a minute apart, the NDC viewership on X as at 5:59pm was 42k, while the viewership of the NPP at 6:00pm was 1.1k.
Kaly Jay captioned the screenshots which were side by side, “ei Digital Man” insinuating that Dr. Bawumia who has been touted as the digital man could not leverage on digitization to have a more following on platforms he claims he had been integral in developing for Ghanaians.
Ghana goes to the polls on Saturday, December 7, 2024 to elect presidential and parliamentary candidates to lead the country.
The battle for the presidential was is dominated by the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama and the NPP’s Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
