The member of parliament for Ningo-Prampram, Sam Nartey George, has recently shared his reflections on 2024, describing it as a year marked by God’s abundant mercy and grace.
In an interview with cookietee on new day,TV3 , he emphasized how the year has been filled with blessings and highlights, despite the challenges.
“Dr. Bawumia prayed for a wide gap, and God granted his prayer,” Sam George stated, referencing the strong election results.
“From Bawumia’s mouth to God’s ear, but God used people like us to help make that prayer come true.”
He humorously noted, “If this were the UK, you’d hear ‘mind the gap’ on the tube, but this gap is so wide, you can’t even mind it!”
Reflecting on his year, Sam George shared that every day of 2024 has been a testament to God’s grace.
“Every day I wake up alive and healthy has been a highlight for me.
It’s been a year of walking in God’s grace,” he said. “I wake up not knowing how the day will go, but somehow, I get through it with excellence.”
Sam George also opened up about the intense campaign season, revealing that he visited 30 constituencies across seven regions, outside of his own, to support the cause.
Despite the tough campaign, he expressed gratitude for the progress and unity seen in Ghana.
“Even though there were a few shenanigans here and there, we are grateful that Ghana remains a country we can all call home,” Sam George concluded, adding that the year has been one of growth and blessings, and he looks forward to celebrating Christmas with joy.
