The New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has been heard bragging 5 days to the 2024 general elections.
Dr. Bawumia noted that John Mahama claims he did more than the NPP when he was in government but when he invited him to a debate one-on-one he was scared and ran away.
According to Bawumia, they have done more than the NDC’s John Dramani Mahama in every corner of the globe.
Speaking on a campaign platform, Dr. Bawumia stated, “He claims he has worked more than us, and I asked don’t understand economic data, if you look at jobs, we have created more jobs than you, we have done more agriculture than you, more industry than you, more roads than you, more railway than you, more Airports than you, more hospitals than you, more classrooms than you, more fiber optic cables than you, more court than you, more sanitation facilities than you, more Zongo development than you, more public libraries than you every corner of the globe we have done more than you”.
The NPP flagbearer further added, “When we voted in 2016 and we voted him out of the government, today he is saying he wants to come back again, do you want him to come back? What is he bringing is it dumsor or “akɔmfɛm” (Guinea fowl) or small chicks “nkokɔ nketenkete” is that what he is bringing?”
“If you claim you have worked more than us, that is why I told him if he believes he has worked more than us he should come and debate one one-on-one, when I told him to come and debate, he was scared he ran like nkokɔ nketenkete, he has run”, he emphasized.
Political parties across Ghana are delivering their final campaign messages as Ghanaians go to the polls in just 5 days to decide their next president and their members of parliament for the next four years.
