Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the Communications Manager for the Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia campaign has revealed that by 3 am on Sunday, the NPP knew they had lost.

According to Dennis Miracles Aboagye, the outcome of the election results was a big shock to him particularly due to the margin.

Dennis Aboagye is quoted by GHONE TV to have said, “By 3 am on Sunday, we [NPP] knew we had lost the election”.

Ghanaians on social media have descended heavily on Dennis Miracles Aboagye for organizing a press conference to spew falsehood when he knew they had lost the elections.

One X user wrote, “You knew even before the first electorates cast their votes but you called a bogus press conference flanked by charlatans to spew nonsense. 😊”, another user wrote, “And the arrogance embedded in NPP made them lied to their supporters that they were winning”.

A third X user stated, “ But you looked at ur presidential candidate and footsoldiers in the face and told them a BOLD lie that you know you’ve won the election but was just waiting for the EC to declare the results 😂😂”
