The son of Bishop Salifu Amoako has been sentenced to six months after his involvement in the East Legon accident.
During the proceedings at the Family and Juvenile Court, the boy initially pleaded not guilty to all charges but has now pleaded guilty.
Elrad Salifu has been sentenced to the Senior Correctional Centre after pleading guilty to 8 counts including two counts of manslaughter.
The tragic accident, which involved a 16-year-old son, Elrad Salifu Amoako, led to the deaths of two beautiful girls last week on October 12, 2024.
According to the Ghana Police Service statement, Elrad was driving a Jaguar SUV crashed into a 4×4 Acura vehicle driven by Joseph Ackah with four occupants.
The prosecutor in the case, Elrad Amoako was leading a 3-SUV convoy with his friends in East Legon.
Despite the presence of other cars, Salifu Amoako’s son decided to show off the speed of the Jaguar F-Pace Sport while leading a 3-SUV convoy with his friends from A&C mall.
