Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe a founding member of the ruling New Patriotic Party has claimed President Akufo-Addo’s plans to handover Ghana to the military.
According to Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe, he has been involved in the fight against military rule, so he knows Ghana is getting closer to it.
Speaking on TV3 News Central, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe stated, “You can see that she is not her own self, some of us have been in these things for close to 50 years, we came to some of my colleagues including Akufo-Addo to fight military regimes, so we know what it means, and we are getting closer to it”.
“Akufo-Addo wants to hand over this country to the military, and if we are not careful it will happen, a political party should not in any way at all try to deceive the populace if you know you have done a good job just wait for the elections day and you will be voted for”, he stated boldly.
Dr. Nyaho-Tamakloe further went on to warn the EC chairperson not to walk Ghana into a disaster, saying, “Now you ask yourself the Political parties themselves how do they look at that, that would tell you that a lot is going wrong in the Electoral Commission, and I have said time and again that Jean Mensa has to be careful before he walks this country into a disaster, this is happening and we have a few days to go to an election”.
