The founder and board chairman of Bills Microfinance Richard Nii-Armah Quaye has given his workers a 100% bonus and a 20% salary increase.
According to Ricard Nii-Armah Quaye, microfinance is in a better position than over the past fifteen years.
He asserted that their success is because of their staff, and they must be rewarded and duly celebrated.
Speaking during their end-of-year durbar, the founder and board chairman of Bills Microfinance Richard Nii-Armah Quaye stated, “Our company is in a better position than it has always been over the past fifteen years of our operations, and this has been made possible, because of the presence of all of you here today, in view of your effort, I have taken a decision with the board to reward you all with a 100% bonus today”.
“I have also taken a decision to increase the salary of all staff, everyone, in this company, will have his or her salary increased by 20%”, he added.
The founder of Bills further added, “Success does not come to anyone by accident, this is why I always ensure, that in this company success is recognized and rewarded and duly celebrated”.
He revealed that the 100% bonus and 20% pay rise will cost the company some 30 million cedis extra to their already existing huge staff cost.
