Information reaching the yawanews.com is that the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) Presidential Candidate has congratulated John Dramani Mahama, the National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) for winning the December 7, 2024 elections.

According to reports Dr. Bawumia is set to address the press this morning and deliver a concession speech.

This will be the first time in Ghana’s history for a candidate to concede defeat in a presidential race.

Although the EC is yet to declare the final collated results, the NDC is said to be leading overwhelming and have claimed most of the parliamentary seats.

Ghana went to the polls on December 7, 2024 with 18 million voters registered to vote.
