An alleged list of President-elect John Mahama’s ministers has surfaced on social media.
According to an X user identified as Sir Obama Pokuase, he has allegedly intercepted the list.
John Dramani Mahama has promised Ghanaians to assemble and operate the leanest but most efficient government under the fourth republic.
According to John Mahama, he will reduce, significantly, the size of the government to form a government of less than sixty (60) ministers and deputy ministers of state.
During John Mahama’s first term in Office as the President of Ghana between 2012 and 2016, Mahama had 26 appointees and 84 ministers with deputies included.
Below are the alleged ministers:
- 1. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Foreign Affairs
- Edward Omane Boamah – Science, Technology and Environment
- Nathan Kofi Boakye – National Security and Interior
- Isaac Adongo – Finance and Economic Planning
- Marietta Brew Appiah – Education
- Grace Ayensu Danquah – Health
- Emmanuel Armah Buah – Energy
- Dominic Ayine – Attorney-General
- Joyce Bawa Mogtari – Roads and Transport
- Haruna Iddrisu – Agriculture
- Kakra Essamuah – Communications
