Akufo-Addo’s and Mahama’s transition teams meet today

President Akufo-Addo’s and President-elects John Mahama’s transition teams will be meeting today Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

John Mahama in his acceptance speech yesterday revealed to Ghanaians that President Akufo-Addo has invited him for a meeting at the Jubilee House on Wednesday 11 December 2024 to initiate the transition process.

The transition team will be responsible for the smooth transfer of power, providing the John Mahama daily security briefing before his swearing-in on January 7, 2025, and working on the payment of retirement benefits for Article 71 officeholders who have come to the end of their tenure.
