Reverend Ebenezer Opambour Adarkwa Yiadom, founder of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Centre, has called on President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to account for the $58 million spent on the National Cathedral project, which has drawn widespread criticism.

In a strongly-worded video posted on X, Opambour expressed his disappointment with the project’s lack of progress and questioned the legitimacy of how the funds were handled, accusing the government of scamming both God and the people of Ghana.

He emphasized the need for transparency, stating, “You cannot scam God like this.”

Opambour also pointed out that religious leaders, including the Chief Imam, had invested their money into the project, raising concerns about the project’s true purpose and integrity.

He challenged the president’s actions, stating, “You don’t respect anybody; you don’t respect God; you don’t respect human beings.”
