The member of parliament for North Tongu Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa has fired the NPP for dancing on the campaign platform when Ghanaians were in hardship.
He noted that the NPP should have referred to the Afro Barometer report to look at the number of Ghanaians, who went to bed hungry every day while they were dancing “sisi fiaa”.
According to him, the NPP campaign was a “sisi fiaa” campaign at the time Ghanaians were going through hardship.
Speaking on Good Morning Ghana, he stated, “Did you listen to their key actors, it got to a point, it was as if, the Ghanaian voter doesn’t matter, listen to them Sammi Awuku, Wontumi, and the rest, we will win with strategy forget about what the people are saying, we will win with strategy”.
“There are over millions of ways of winning, really, strategy, the people don’t matter, you see where you are today, where is the strategy” he added.
The member of parliament added, “See the sort of campaign they mounted a song and dance campaign, a sisi fiaa campaign, no wonder they have ended up with a sisi fiaa minority in parliament. How was that a campaign of issues, of policies, what was at the center of the campaign it was all about sisi fiaa, with all sorts of gay-looking characters dancing and booging all over the place”.
“At a time when you have created unprecedented hardship, the people are hungry. If the NPP had minded to refer to the Afro Barometer look at the number of Ghanaians, who went to bed hungry every day according to the Afro Barometer”, Ablakwa detailed.
