The final campaign rally of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) rally held on Thursday 5th December, 2024 at Legon became a hotspot for members of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).
The event seems to have attracted NDC faithful who camouflaged themselves as members of the NPP.
A journalist who was present at the rally approached a lady clad in NPP colors, wearing a Bawumia t-shirt and an NPP scarf.
Upon reaching the lady, the journalist sought to find out from the young lady which policy of the NPP’s presidential candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia that stands to her and has made her decide to vote for her.
The interview took a quick u-turn to the surprise of many.
The lady asked the journalist “do you want the truth?” which the journalist replied in the affirmative.
“I don’t really have much to say but all I have to say is, I don’t wanna be in trouble saying this but 3y3 Zu.” She said raising both her hands.
3y3 Zu is a catch phrase of the opposition NDC and the young ladies utterance goes to show she is an ardent supporter of the party, as she was confident to make this proclamation in the midst of NPP supporters.
In the wrap up to campaign activities for the December 7, 2024 elections, the NDC and NPP both held their final rallies to consolidate their votes yesterday 5th December, 2024.
