The operation was led by prominent NDC figures, including National Organizer Joseph Yamin, Deputy General Secretary Mustapha Gbande, and Captain (rtd) Jabari. The fertilizer was discovered in a house whose owner is yet to be identified.

Gbande shared on social media that, after gathering intelligence, the NDC leadership and their team seized the fertilizer, calling it part of a pattern of looting that began after John Dramani Mahama’s victory as President-elect.

The NDC has vowed to track down the house’s owner and take further legal action.
