Zanetor Rawlings vows to tackle Adabraka daylight robbery case

Member of Parliament for Korle Klottey Dr. Zanetor Rawlings, says she will take up on the consistent robbery incidents at Adabraka to the Minister for National Security and other relevant authorities to ensure maximum security in the area.

“I in turn follow up with the Ministry of Interior and the National Security with regards to what is happening here. We assure people in the community without ensuring that their security is guaranteed I don’t think it’s enough”, she added.

According to her today’s incident is the second in less than four months at the same place.
The incident occurred near a busy market, four masked men armed with guns attacked a man in a red Toyota Corolla.

Eyewitnesses reported that the assailants approached the vehicle with weapons drawn and began firing multiple shots into the air, creating chaos and panic among the onlookers.

As the gunfire rang out, shoppers and vendors scrambled for safety, ducking behind stalls and rushing to find cover.

The sounds of gunshots echoed through the market, leaving the scene in disarray as people desperately sought refuge from the unfolding violence.

Meanwhile, Police are on a manhunt for a gang of armed robbers who attacked a jewelry shop at Adabraka in Accra on Saturday 2nd November 2024 where one person was injured.
“We would like to assure the public that we will surely get them and bring them to face justice”, the police explained in a brief statement.
