The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Teacher’s Forum has accused the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) of collapsing the country’s education system.

They claim that the NPP’s poor execution of the Free Senior High School policy, lack of resources for teachers, and insufficient infrastructure have contributed to the educational system’s decline.

At the Ashanti Regional conference of the forum in Kumasi, their National President, Comrade Abu Sufyan, stated that the NPP government has left the education system in disarray.

Mr. Sufyan highlighted that public second-cycle institutions are struggling with overcrowded classrooms and dormitories, which adversely affect students.

Mr. Peter Aboagye, the National Deputy Director-in-Charge of Research for the forum, outlined several interventions the NDC plans to implement if elected to restore the education system.
